Inspiring Women Series Event — Wed., October 27th

Welcome to uOttawa WISE!

I hope that your first semester is off to a good start! Thanks to all of you who came to our first coffee social.  Last year was a great year and this year we’re excited to be continuing our Inspiring Women’s Series as well as the lunchtime workshops.  We’ll keep you posted as we continue to expand and host more and more exciting events.

If anyone is interested in volunteering with us or has suggestions regarding events, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Come and join uOttawa WISE (Women in Science & Engineering) for our first guest speaker event of the year!

Dominique Simoneau-Ritchie, currently Project Manager in Rational Security and Compliance at IBM, graduated from Concordia University’s Software Engineering program in 2006. While at Concordia, she was the recipient of a number of honours, among them the Concordia University Software Engineering Medal, for having achieved the highest Final Graduation GPA in software engineering, and the Association des Ingénieurs Conseils du Québec (AICQ) Award 2005. She has also held the position of Software Developer and Product Manager during her time at IBM.

We hope to see you Wednesday, October 27th in CBY A707 at 6:30 pm.

Everyone is welcome and refreshments (sandwiches, coffee, and baked goodies) will be served.
